Babylife Wee-Go glass bottles are the new trend. I found mine while shopping at Nordstrom's a year ago. I don't ever shop there, because going to the mall is not really something I have time to do (thank goodness for online shopping) but whenever I end up there I definitely leave with something awesome.
Anyways, these baby bottles were something I'd never heard of but now they seem to be all the rage. A GREAT idea, I must say - the rubber "cozy" helps prevent breakage. However, my son managed to break his only one! So...maybe it's not all that genius.
If you must have glass bottles (good choice, plastic is not the way to go) then get something with protection. That's for sure. Our other glass bottles didn't last but a week.
Other reasons why I like Wee-Go:
The sleeve is free of plastics and is 100% non-toxic
The bottle and
the sleeve can be boiled or put in the dishwasher together
The
silicone nipple is latex-free and non-toxic
The plastic ring, plug and
cap contain no polycarbonates and are food grade, FDA approved and
recyclable.
The sleeve provides a good gripping surface during feeding
and also a great tactile experience for your baby.
If you can't afford this or don't want to buy more baby stuff then you could what we started doing after our Wee-Go was no-go:
In case that's a little too trashy for you, I have some BETTER glass bottle finds:
