My son and I just discovered this Yo Gabba Gabba show on Nick and we are so excited about it. (thanks to my dear friend Solange.) OK, maybe I'm totally out of the loop and everybody knows this show. BUT we don't watch much TV so I guess it's makes sense.
"Abba Abba" is my 17 month old's favorite new saying.
It means "mama, TURN ON THE COMPUTER so I can watch videos!" We like the web site because there are all these funny interactive videos to watch.
The NY Times recently wrote a review, calling Yo Gabba Gabba "a property for both hipster parents...and their offspring." It's Sesame Street for the 30 year olds: politically correct and diverse with lots of dancing, rapping, beatboxing, break dancing, singing and robots. The show teaches lessons about sharing, dirty food and continually has new cool guests ranging from Jack Black and Alijah Woods to Maya and Biz Markie to the Shins.
The apparel can be found at stores like Barney's? So appropriate.
I encourage you to check it out!
