Tabouli is not only flavorful and super healthy it's SO delicious. You can make it using sprouted quinoa or you can grind almonds up for added protein and use that as the quinoa.
Tabouli
Parsley*
Cilantro
Green Onions
Tomatoes
Almonds or Quinoa
Dressing
Lemon
Olive Oil
Garlic
Honey/Agave (optional)
Sea Salt
Make Quinoa either by sprouting or cooking it. And/Or chop almonds in a small coffee grinder or Vitamix. Chop parsley, cilantro, green onions, and tomatoes. Combine in a bowl with quinoa or almonds. Add dressing.
*some midwives believe that too much parsely can affect the uterus, possibly cause bleeding. So, I wouldn't eat this salad ever day!
vitamin notes: This salad is great for pregnancy because the parsley is iron-rich while the tomatoes are vitamin-C-rich, and
iron is more easily absorbed into the body in the presence of vitamin C.
