It's margarita time at my house! Yep, and I deserved this one. No shame. No guilt. And it's a totally (skinny) Guilt Free Fresh Margaritas Recipe, made with only the freshest ingredients. No triple sec or cane syrup here! Just fresh lime, great tequila, Cointreau, agave, and salt!

If you've had it as a mom today and just want to escape, stop the mom guilt! It's ok to treat yourself. And this is also guilt-free in the health department as well. It's a fresh homemade (skinny style) margarita; better than any restaurant version!

Guilt Free Fresh Margaritas Ingredients
{Confession: I craved margaritas my ENTIRE first pregnancy. Never had one sip the whole time, but the day I gave birth to my son at home (home birth), my mom had a fresh batch waiting for me! And guess what - a margarita never tasted so good after a LONG hard day and 9 months! - not sure I never thanked you for that, mom}
So cheers to us mamas that work so hard every single day!
Guilt Free Fresh Margaritas Recipe Variations & Substitutions
- Spicy - that's right, throw some chopped jalapeno in this drink and muddle like crazy.
- Orange-rita - swap the lime for fresh tangerine juice.
- Fancy Salted Rim - go crazy with the salted rim. Try smoked sea salt or add some spicy red pepper for heat.
- Grapefruit - swap the lime for grapefruit juice. Or use both. I love grapefruit in my margaritas.

That is a REAL margarita, and why El Callejon is our favorite place to get 'em - they make them just like this, none of that nasty corn syrup-y bottled Sweet 'N Sour/Margarita Mix. (A splash of orange juice is a great way to add a little sweetness as well.)

@Jason I said that in the recipe - add orange juice if you don't want to add sugar! haha. Let's do El Callejon soon...they do have the best in town!
