Spring Giveaway #2 :: Beauty Supplies

It's that time again; we're giving away great products. This time it's anti-aging BEAUTY supplies. Eidon sells a few things that are essential to your beauty regime: non-toxic sunscreen and silica {the mineral supplement}.

As you might already know, I am not a big fan of sunscreen. But since Eidon's sunscreen is free of the propelene glycol {aka anti freeze} and {methyl} parabens, it's a great choice for those long beach days under the hot sun.

Silica is the hair, skin and nails mineral. It's essential for increasing collagen production and diminishing wrinkles.

Again, I'm not talking about the "makeup" beauty supplies, but rather the supplies crucial to preventing you from needing all that face paint in the first place.

    Contest Rules:

    1. You must "Like" both PureMamas and Eidon on Facebook.

    2. Go to Eidon.com and tell us one thing you learned after purusing the site. {this should be easy, there is so much great freakin' info on their site} Remember you can leave a comment or send info to: deliciouskookies {at} gmail.com

    Prize:

    contest ends April 23, 2011

    • 1 bottle of sunscreen
    • 1 full bottle of silica concentrate

Wow, so much to learn, indeed! A surprising fact about silica (at least to me) is that Silica can be used as a mouthwash and that it will promote oral health and gums love it; bleeding gums respond in record time. As a holistic nutritionist I thought I knew all that there was to know about this "beauty" mineral/miracle. Guess not, huh.

I also "Liked" Kookie Karma and Eldon on FB.

      These products look amazing!

      I liked both on FB!

I learned there is no recommended intake level for the element silicon and it's essential to reverse osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. Two things I'm genetically prone to!

Wow, what an impressive site. I've suffered from allergies my entire life, so i found the article about Eidon's Immune support really interesting. i learned that the lack of or excessive amounts of minerals are the root cause of illness caused by invading organisms. Good stuff 🙂

I learned that just maybe I can reverse my thyroid disease by supplementing with Liquid Iodine. There has to be a better solution than the synthetic hormones I am on every day!

Silica, wow I am super interested. I am a master gardener and am very hard on my body and skin. The info provided on silica made me think there is still hope for my skin, always aching bones and brittle nails. I concentrate all my love on my family and garden and tend to neglect myself. which after reading about silica and heavy mail metals neglecting myself is not only bad for beauty but bad for my health. thanks for sharing these two amazing web sites, they are now two of my favs. Julie you are a world of knowledge thanks again.

🙋🏼‍♀️ Huge Chris Stapleton fan here. And passion fruit lover. They are in season and growing all over the place here. ⬇️
Passion fruit water is yet another youth serum. As passion fruit is full of vitamin C, vitamin A, fiber, and minerals like calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and folate. These help your kidneys, nerves, muscles, and heart rhythm in big ways.
Your body uses Vitamins C to make blood vessels, cartilage, muscles, and collagen, which keeps skin looking young. It also helps your body heal, lowers inflammation, and protects your cells from damage. When you get enough vitamin C, it lowers your chances of getting colds and certain types of cancers. Vit A is great for eyes, immunity, and cells.
Note: did you know Passion Fruit is actually a berry? The biggest berry you’ll find.

If you’re not ready for change, you’re not rea
If you’re not ready for change, you’re not ready for change. And that’s perfectly ok.
Making healthy choices isn’t hard work. You “have time” to choose an apple over a bag of chips. Let’s be real here; you just DON’T WANT TO. And that alone is totally ok!!
Let’s not shame others choices or pressure another to change. If somebody is not happy where they’re at, or they are sick, or in pain, only then will they start examining their current routines and habits. Anger is a great catalysts for change. It often pushes people out if their comfort zones and into action.
I often hear “I don’t have time to be healthy”. But what that really means is I don’t want to change or I’m afraid of change. And I’m not ready. Change is what they’re nervous about - not the amount of time it takes to chop up vegetables.
Be kind to yourself…but be honest.
Notice what you say you desire (weightloss or more energy) and then really examine your habits. Do you make the choices a “thin” person makes? Do you make the choices a rested high energy person needs to make? This might seem obvious but it’s actually not…so often we overlook this gap. We don’t see it and then we get mad at ourselves. Punish ourselves for “failing” over and over again.
Once you start paying attention to your actions and habits and line them up with your goals - that’s when the magic happens.
Yay or nay?
