    CUTCO Giveaway

    Cutco makes the World's Finest Cutlery. Not only are they the sharpest and most durable, but they are made RIGHT HERE in America. This product is a must have for any chef, AKA Mom or Dad, that likes to chop, slice, spread and create healthy food. {and they also make amazing cookware, none of which contains any kind of teflon or nonstick}

Best of all, I'm giving away a 5" CUTCO Santuko knive. This knife's warranty is not only good for your life time, but also for that of your childrens' lifetime. In other words, they are guaranteed forever.

If it gets dull, breaks, melts {all of which are highly unlikely when taking care of it properly} you can just send it into the head quarters and they will fix it for you or even give you a brand new one.

Doesn't get much better than that!

I use cutco all the time, but never tried the santuko until I used it at someone's house. I LOVED it. It was so easy to handle and super good for cutting everything. It is a must have for every kitchen and especially MINE

I love my sister's Santuko knife and would love one of my own to thinly slice all the vegetable goodness coming out of my garden! Tomatoes are almost out of the green stage and it's almost time for cucumbers. Yum!

      Thanks!

Good sharp knives are so crucial to being savvy in the kitchen. I am still looking for the perfect knife and would love this one! The first thing I would make with it is summer rolls - lots of veggie chopping!

I really could use a new knife since mine is 8 years old and is dull, dull, dull (lots of pineapple)...I ALWAYS read the blog & follow on Facebook. Just started following on Twitter again, I used to follow and loved Juli's advice! But my husband totally embarrassed me by photoshopping a picture of my head onto Juli's body & using it as my twitter profile pic...I could have DIED when Juli saw it! AAAAAHHHHH!

I'd Love this knife. At the end of the month My family (Hubby, myself, and 2 yr old daughter) are moving to a new apartment (much bigger). I've been toying around with the idea of going Vegan for a while and have finally decided that new apartment means new life style which means I'm actually going to start cooking. the set of knives I have now are hand me downs from mom, and I cut veggies with a stake knife (horrible i know) So I could really use a head start on getting some good knives ^_^

      Hugs and Kisses

I wonder if this knife would work for opening coconuts?! I have a new obsession with young coconut water, especially during these hot summer months. Crossing my fingers. 🙂

I follow you on twitter and like pure mama on fb.

I would love a Cutco, because currently the only knife I own is a ceramic one. Don't get me wrong, I really love it. However, mincing garlic is nearly impossible. I actually thought I lost my knife last night and went on a wild goose chase looking everywhere. Luckily, I ended up finding it on the top shelf of our dishwasher. Whew.

So, I would use my Cutco to mince onions and garlic. And of course all other fruits and veggies.

This looks like an AWESOME knife!! Of course I would love to have one to use to quickly and efficiently cut up all of my amazing weekly CSA veggies. I'm always doing it in a rush, feeling like I barely have time to use them all and I think this knife would help me do the job right. Of course, I love cutco and am grateful for and love the set that we have 😉 xo

      Hi Juli!
Love love love Cutco! Our first knives were from Wes for our wedding present, and I've been impressed with them ever since. The santuko knife would be a great addition as an all purpose knife. The ones we have now are specialized for tomatoes & cheese. I would use it most for mincing garlic, onions and fresh herbs. I love your website and recomend it to everyone!

Passion fruit water is yet another youth serum. As passion fruit is full of vitamin C, vitamin A, fiber, and minerals like calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and folate. These help your kidneys, nerves, muscles, and heart rhythm in big ways.
Your body uses Vitamins C to make blood vessels, cartilage, muscles, and collagen, which keeps skin looking young. It also helps your body heal, lowers inflammation, and protects your cells from damage. When you get enough vitamin C, it lowers your chances of getting colds and certain types of cancers. Vit A is great for eyes, immunity, and cells.

If you’re not ready for change, you’re not rea
If you’re not ready for change, you’re not ready for change. And that’s perfectly ok.
Making healthy choices isn’t hard work. You “have time” to choose an apple over a bag of chips. Let’s be real here; you just DON’T WANT TO. And that alone is totally ok!!
Let’s not shame others choices or pressure another to change. If somebody is not happy where they’re at, or they are sick, or in pain, only then will they start examining their current routines and habits. Anger is a great catalysts for change. It often pushes people out if their comfort zones and into action.
I often hear “I don’t have time to be healthy”. But what that really means is I don’t want to change or I’m afraid of change. And I’m not ready. Change is what they’re nervous about - not the amount of time it takes to chop up vegetables.
Be kind to yourself…but be honest.
Notice what you say you desire (weightloss or more energy) and then really examine your habits. Do you make the choices a “thin” person makes? Do you make the choices a rested high energy person needs to make? This might seem obvious but it’s actually not…so often we overlook this gap. We don’t see it and then we get mad at ourselves. Punish ourselves for “failing” over and over again.
Once you start paying attention to your actions and habits and line them up with your goals - that’s when the magic happens.
Yay or nay?
