Milkshakes at my house aren't your usual, but then again, what IS the usual in my kitchen? Pretty much NOTHING! I know! Bear with me. This one is easy. No dehydrators required and no green stuff, I promise.
This recipe is especially fun because it involves your kids. Grab your children and show them what you're doing. Let them make choices. Instead of peach, maybe they like strawberry? Let them grab a stool, open the fridge and the freezer! Show them the spices and flavors, make it fun. Clear off the countertops and get ready to MAKE A MESS!
A milkshake party? SURE. Why not.
When you're finished, add a decorative straw.Tell your kids you're having a party and milkshakes are involved, they will be excited about eating peaches and bananas.
My kids ask for milkshakes all of the time. Sometimes we add almond or peanut butter, raw cacao powder, whatever it is they want. Just keep the ingredients natural, clean and organic.
Have fun. Laugh. And forget about rules and messes for this project.
