Anybody who knows me or reads my blog knows that not only am I crazy about GREEN salads but I'm even crazier about kids eating lots of fresh veggies and fruit.
Kids don't need full greasy bellies, they need nutrients and living foods to help them not only grow big and strong but to stay focused and have lots of energy for playing and learning! It's crucial to proper development.
So, when I heard about this Whole Foods Salad Bar Campaign I just knew I had to get involved. I couldn't be more excited about the idea of a SALAD BAR in school cafeterias. I mean, this is what I've been talking about for years now.
Cafeteria food is just the WORST {greasy, cheesy, boxed and not fresh} as we know and public schools can't afford fresh salad bars and organic foods, so Whole Foods is offering to give one away to each school that wins this campaign.
But here's the catch!!! You gotta help your local school win by participating. Of course you can give a straight up donation if you'd like but even better, on the 9th, TOMMORROW, you can participate just by EATING A SALAD from the Whole Foods salad bar.
That's right!
Whole Foods will donate
$1 for every pound of salad your purchase
So hurry up, grab your kids, take them to Whole Foods and start making a salad!
