Quite often my recipes call for things like whipped garlic or tamari and people ask me where to get it or what it is. This inspired me to make a list of things that I always keep on hand and think you should as well if you plan on trying to get healthy or meat and dairy-free this new year.
I made a chart to help explain why I like each ingredient. These are staples in my pantry or fridge and I use them almost daily. Of course you will not only need veggies, nuts, beans and rice but you will also need some great recipes. These items are pretty common in most of my recipes and most vegan bloggers would probably agree with this list.
Most health food stores carry these items and you can also find most of them on amazon.com if for some reason your local store does not carry them.
I decided not to share links this time around - nobody has paid me to share their products in this post. It's just a from-the-heart diagram that I hope will help you on your journey to a healthier you or a healthier family.
Again, if you need anything, just comment below and I will be happy to help.

So happy. I have them ALL! Except that amazing looking garlic whipped cream but no one imports it to Panama. At least not yet.....

Anna, I bet there is something like it near you. I think it's a middle eastern style condiment. It's also called "whipped garlic" and you can make it as well...look online. Then store it in the fridge. It's seriously the best thing...I put it in all my sauces and in my wraps, etc. Garlic Heaven.

Thanks YOU for commenting. The one thing not on the list that I wish I had added: frozen super ripe bananas! 😉
