Hi
I'm a plant-based recipe developer, welcome to my happy space. At age 22, I healed my autoimmune disease through food. By age 24 I was running a major health food company selling to Whole Foods Markets, corporations, hotels and also high powered celebrity clients. In the past 20 years I have shown hundreds of thousands of people the healing power of foods and demonstrated through my cutting edge products that vegan foods didn't have to be "hippie". They are high vibe and powerful.
My mission creating plant-based recipes for all of you and for big companies is being committed to empowering people to change their lives, take control of their health, feel great, and healing their illness and weight issues.
Before I was healed, I spent so many years trying one diet after another. I couldn’t stick to one way of eating. I blamed gluten for my health problems. Then I went high protein. Then I figured running twice a day would solve my body issues. Maybe not eating was the answer? I was all over place, unable to make a decision and stick to it. I didn't know what I wanted or why I wanted it.
Crazier thing is, when I took a step back I realized my relationships weren’t all that much different. I was striving for perfection but unclear as to what I really wanted or needed. I was confused unsure and focused so much on the negative "what ifs" that I attracting chaos. I had a million limiting beliefs and didn't even realize I had them. I was often fearful, thinking of what could go wrong instead of what could go right.
Getting my mindset right was the first step in my healing. Perfection and dogmatism is not part of healing in fact they hold us back from success. Many times people associate veganism with dogmatism. Let's not confuse dogmatism with being fully committed to something. I began holding myself accountable everyday but not shaming myself when I indulged in things outside my goals. There is a difference. A whole foods plant based diet is a way of eating and a way of life.

ABOUT ME
I have been obsessed with coffee, baking and vegetarianism since I was 13 years old [that's when I decided to stop eating meat]. In high school I was the head pastry chef at a popular coffee shop near my house. I loved baking so much that I used to invite friends over before school started every morning for homemade lattes and scones.
After suffering from auto immune disease, I changed my diet and completely erased all of my horrible auto immune symptoms. Using my experience in baking I began making my own unique healthy cookies and muffins that were free from eggs, gluten, dyes, preservatives and dairy.
And there began my vegan, gluten-free, organic snack food company, Kookie Karma, in Santa Monica, CA. I simultaneously studied for my Masters in Holistic Nutrition. I ran that business full time for over 11 years.
Kookie Karma products were featured in Whole Foods Markets, Amazon, and select health food stores nationally and internationally.
Now age 41 I’m a single mom of 3 kids, living in Southern California with my tribe and cooking up a storm in my little plant-based kitchen.
I have been cooking for clients, consulting for health food start-ups, journalism, photography and recipe development for other like-minded rad companies. Last year I finished an intensive course in Plant-Based Nutrition through Cornell University online.
And now I have just launched my new line of PURE sauces.
