ICE COLD MELON SLUSHEE RECIPE

Ice cold melon slushees are so refreshing and made with only ice, fruit, and a touch of sweetener. You can add vanilla bean or mint. Enjoy! Kids love these slushees as well.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Ripe melon (honeydew, cantaloup or watermelon)
  • 2-3 cups Ice
  • 1 ½ tablespoon agave nectar

Instructions
 

  • Slice melon in half. Remove seeds and thick outer skin. Cut into medium-sized chunks.
  • Place melon and ice in the blender. The more ice you use the more “slushee” and thick it becomes. So, add the amount of ice depending on preferred consistency.
  • Add agave or sweetener of choice. Blend well until there are no remaining fruit chunks.
  • Serve immediately for best taste.
