HOMEMADE VEGAN BACON
Homemade vegan bacon is better than store-bought. This recipe has a smoky maple taste and a nice soft texture. You will love this version of vegan bacon using Pumfu instead of tofu. High in protein, soy-free and no artificial ingredients.

2 tablespoon Neutral oil like avocado oil or vegetable oil 2 tablespoon Tamari ½ teaspoon Everything Spice 1 tsp Smoked paprika 1 ½ teaspoon Tomato paste 1 tsp Maple syrup dash Cayenne pepper 1 package Pumfu Slice the Pumfu length-wise, into very thin slices. In a cup, add the rest of the ingredients together. Whisk together with a fork or a whisk.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a deep flat baking dish pour marinade over Pumfu slices. Coat well and let sit while the oven preheats.
Transfer the slices to a lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Turn the heat up to 400 and bake another 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
